march 3rd is
ひなまつり - hinamatsuri, girls day in japan - a day where families celebrate their daughter's future happiness. every year, my mom would display dolls in our living room and make me chirashizushi, which is a bowl of rice topped with different kind of sashimi.
since i'm away from home this year, my parents send me a package of goodies instead! thanks mama & papa!
all my favorites + some new hello kitty things!
luckily, i get to enjoy the day off today! it's going to be a great girls day.
